1. Using Prompt Engineer

Prompt Engineer is a Chrome extension that helps you write better prompts and polish text using AI. By using the extension you agree to these terms. Free plan usage is limited to a daily quota; paid plans unlock additional tools and higher/unlimited usage, subject to the Fair Usage Policy below.

2. What we collect

We store your extension settings, saved prompt history, and usage counters locally in your browser. If you sign in with Google to purchase a plan, we collect your name and email to identify your account and to send purchase records to our internal system, so your plan can be restored if you sign in again later (e.g. after reinstalling). We do not sell your data.

3. AI processing

Text you submit to AI-powered tools (Enhance, Translate, Grammar, Professional Tone, Shorten, Humanize AI Text, Summarize, Bullet Points, Hashtag Generator) is sent to our server, which forwards it to Google's Gemini API to generate a response, then returns it to you. We don't use your submitted text to train models.

4. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure a reliable and high-quality experience for all users, unlimited AI features are subject to a Fair Usage Policy.

Our plans are designed for normal personal and professional use. Excessive, automated, abusive, or unusually high-volume usage that may negatively impact service performance or violate our Terms of Service may be limited or reviewed.

If unusually high usage is detected, we may temporarily limit requests, reduce processing speed, or contact you to discuss a plan better suited to your usage. Normal users will not be affected by this policy.

This policy helps us maintain fast, stable, and affordable AI services for everyone.

Unlimited features are subject to our Fair Usage Policy to ensure reliable performance and prevent abuse. Normal personal and professional use is not affected.

5. Payments

Paid plans are billed as shown at checkout. Prices are shown in INR or USD depending on your detected region. Refunds and billing questions can be sent to our support contact.

6. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the extension after an update means you accept the revised terms.
